Actions and Stuff is a free resource pack for Minecraft Bedrock Edition built by Oreville Studios, a verified Minecraft Marketplace creator. It replaces over 50 default animations with smooth, weighted motion across player movement, mob behavior, combat, and environmental effects. It is not a mod. It changes visual files only and runs through Minecraft’s built-in Global Resources system.

What Does It Change?

Player walking, running, swimming, jumping, eating, and combat animations. Mob behaviors include cows grazing, wolves wagging tails, chickens pecking, and villagers blinking. What Does It Not Change?

How Do I Install on Android?

Tap the download button, save the APK to Downloads, enable Unknown Sources when prompted, tap Install, and open the app. The pack is active on first launch. Full steps with screenshots are on the Android page.

How Do I Enable Unknown Sources?

Android 8.0 and above. When the blocked install prompt appears, tap Settings, find your browser, and toggle Allow From This Source on. Go back and tap Install.

Android 7.0 and below. Settings, then Security, then Unknown Sources. Toggle on, install, toggle off afterward if you want.

How Do I Install the MCPACK on PC?

Double-click the file. Minecraft opens automatically and imports it. Wait for the success message. Go to Settings, then Global Resources, activate the pack, and load any world. If double-clicking does nothing, right-click, select Open With, and choose Minecraft. Full steps on the PC page.

How Do I Activate the Pack After Installing?

Open Minecraft, go to Settings, then Global Resources. Find Actions and Stuff in Available Packs, then tap the plus icon to move them to Active. Tap the gear icon next to the pack and select your resolution. Load any world, and animations start immediately.

Can I Install on Multiple Devices?

All three resolutions include every animation. Only texture sharpness changes. Start at 32x and adjust from there.

Does It Work on Java Edition?

No. Actions and Stuff is built for Minecraft Bedrock Edition only. Java Edition uses a completely different file format and animation system. The Java page has the best alternatives, including Fresh Animations and similar mods built specifically for Java.

Does It Work With Other Resource Packs?

Yes, but not with another animation pack. Two animation packs conflict, and both break. Using Actions and Stuff alongside a texture pack, skin pack, or sound pack works fine. Keep it at position one in your active list.

Does It Work With Shaders?

Yes. Most shaders work alongside the pack without issues. Heavy shaders may reduce performance on older mobile devices. On PC, Actions and Stuff pairs well with RTX at 64x resolution.

Which Minecraft Versions Are Supported?

Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.16 to 1.21. The pack was last updated in January 2026 and is fully compatible with v1.21.70.22. Oreville Studios releases compatibility patches within days of every new Bedrock update.

Achievements and Multiplayer Questions

Does It Disable Achievements?

No. Actions and Stuff is a resource pack, not a mod or behavior pack. Resource packs change visual files only. Crafting recipes, mob AI, world generation, and achievement tracking are completely untouched. Play a full Survival world with this on and earn every unlock normally on every platform. Does It Work on Realms?

Yes. Two options. Add it to your personal Global Resources, and only you will see the animations. Or if you own the Realm, add it through Realm settings, and every player who joins gets it automatically.

Does It Work on Servers?

Yes. The pack is client-side, meaning animations show on your screen based on your installation. Other players do not need it installed. The Hive, CubeCraft, Mineplex, Lifeboat, and any custom Bedrock server all work without any extra configuration.

Will I Get Banned for Using It?

No. Resource packs are allowed on every Bedrock server because they only change what you see on your own screen. They provide zero gameplay advantage and do not violate any server rules.

Do Other Players See My Animations?

No. Animations show only on your device. Other players see the default Minecraft unless they also have the pack installed.

Performance Questions

Will It Cause Lag on My Phone?

Not at the right resolution. Most lag reports come from running 64x on a device that needs 16x. Phones from 2018 onward run 16x with no drop from vanilla Minecraft.

How Do I Improve Performance?

Drop the resolution one level first, then lower render distance to 8 chunks. Device specific performance settings are covered on the Android and PC pages.

Does It Drain Battery Faster?

Slightly more than vanilla at higher resolutions. Use 16x on older phones for the best battery life during long sessions.

Animations Not Showing After Install

The pack is usually sitting in Available Packs instead of Active Packs. Open Settings, then Global Resources, and move it across. Step by step fix with pack order details.

MCPACK Not Importing

Minecraft needs to be open and fully loaded before you tap the file. If tapping does nothing at all, the cause is usually file handling on your device. Import fixes for Android and Windows.

Game Crashing After Installing

Resolution set too high for your device RAM causes almost every crash. Tap the gear icon next to the pack and select 16x. Why this happens and what to do if it keeps crashing.

Pack Disappeared After Minecraft Update

Your file is not deleted. Updates can move a pack from Active back into Available. Check Global Resources and move it across again. What to do if the pack is gone completely.

Pink and Black Textures After a Minecraft Update

This one is not your fault, nor is it the pack’s. A Minecraft update in early 2026 broke worlds running add-ons and threw up pink and black textures on load. Mojang patched it with Bedrock 26.2 on February 25, 2026. Open Minecraft, check for updates, and get to 26.2 or later. Once that is done, pull the fresh MCPACK from this page, swap it out, and you are good.

Deactivate the pack in Global Resources, download the latest file from this page, reinstall, and reactivate. Your worlds and progress are not affected. All previous releases are on the old versions page.

Will I Lose My Worlds When Updating?

No. Worlds are stored separately from resource packs. Updates never touch world data.
